ceramic footprint mold kit is created

1. Ceramic clay is rolled and hand built and cut out to size

2. Drying time can vary from 5-10 days. Ceramic clay shrinks as it dries and clay needs to be 

completely dry before going into the kiln. Any moisture left in the clay will make it explode while firing in the kiln. 

3. Cleaning and sanding piece helps clean any rough edges before final bisque fire 

4. Bisque Firing lasts 24 hours and all Ceramic pottery pieces need to be put in the kiln for
this first firing. This is when the clay is turned into hard stone. The kiln takes between 6-8 hours to reach about 1900 degrees and approximately 12 hours to cool.

5. Glaze Painting can be done several different ways - I mainly paint my glazes on

6. Glaze Firing takes 24 hours. The ceramic clay work will go in the kiln for one last firing. Kiln temperature will reach approximately 2200 degrees which turns the glaze into a glass like coating

*Ornament size is for up to 12 months

*Kiln Fired Twice...First bisque fired then Glazed fired for a smooth glass like finish. This is not just One bisque fire and then painted with a stain, acrylic paint and marker. Please check before you buy to find out.

* Holiday orders need to be purchased by Oct. 16 due to demand. You may still order for all the Christmas 's to come. If it is a gift, I can send picture postcard that has Snowman on it to let family know it will be arriving.

* Each baby snowman Christmas ornament may vary from picture above and will have its own look.

*When buying, please include child's name, age. I will engrave on back of ornament name,age and year

*approximatwly 10 weeks so order by beginning or Oct and ship back by Oct 10. Give them time to dry

I created this personalized plaque spelling LOVE with your own child's hand and footprints, name and date. As a mother, I adore my cherished keepsakes of my children. I love to be able to give my children their sweet hand prints and be able to share this keepsake plaque with their own families one day. Age up to 12 - 15 months depending on child's size on growth chart (Bronze as seen in first picture and gold in second photo are new paint additions added. These added metallic colors are paints. We have made capturing your precious little one’s impressions easy. The soft mold used is not 
playdough, or messy plaster of paris. You can “re-do” the impressions until you are happy with your results.
You will have your choice of an imprint with the impressions being sunk into the clay, or, a 2/D pop out
relief with the prints rising above the clay.
When you have the impressions the way you like, simply follow the instructions for the drying time.
Once it is dry it is time to ship it back to us, where we will create your final piece. Please note, it is
recommended to use the mold within the first week after you have received it for size. if you wait too long baby may out grow size of mold.
Once you have shipped your mold back to us, it will take a full 10 weeks to create your little one’s
keepsake print. Please plan accordingly if this is to be a gift, especially around the holiday season.
Your mold can be used to create multiple pieces. Allowing you to order more, as keepsake memories for
family and friends. They make wonderful plaques and ornaments that will last a lifetime. Your mold will
be kept for up to a year, allowing you to place additional orders as you need them
