The pop-out 2-D, 3D effect of this ceramic ornament plaque allows you to see and feel the raised hand and foot of the baby. This particular plaque is colored in creases is expresso and background is glazed painted in tearose. The wall hanging has to be fired twice in the kiln. Bisque fire then painted.
How I begin
I have worked hard to create the perfect mold to capture and create all the detail in the child's hand and footprint. Once your have placed an order, a print mold kit will be sent out 1 to 2 days after. Easy instructions are sent to make the perfect print. When finishing this process, you will then ship the mold back with your order form naming your choice of shape, color and writing style. Once I receive the handprints, I transfer it to ceramic in a way that allows it to keep its detail. After the initial kiln bisque firing, glaze of your choice is painted and the plaque is kiln fired again. The process in whole takes a approximately 2 months after I receive your mold back. Much time is due to transferring, etching, detailing,drying, cleaning, kiln firing once, painting and finishing with writing baby information on back, adding ribbon and securely packaging up to be sent out.
Choose to only have a hint of color in the creases and writing, full solid color, background in color only, or paint in writing and on hand and foot only.

My 2D 3D hand and foot molding kits for this listing is available for babies up to 2- 3 months. The kit comes complete with a mold which you will be sent with clear instructions. The mold does have to be used within a few days of receipt, you cannot leave it several weeks so please consider this when purchasing.
There is a approximately 8 week turn around time after the mold has been returned. Hooks are added for hanging with ribbon unless you request otherwise.
