* We will send you a easy soft mold that is not playdo and not so hard you have to work and work to soften it either. You may redo until happy.
* I will send order form for you to fill out your text and any other custom information wanted and baby info if desired.
* You will send back mold for us to transfer print into ceramic clay
* From time I receive mold back time frame is approximately 8 weeks. Holiday times need to have molds early

How I begin
I have worked hard to create the perfect mold to capture and create all the detail in the child's hand and footprint. Once your have placed an order, a mold will be sent out 1 to 2 days after. Easy instructions are sent to make the perfect print. When finishing this process, you will then ship the mold back with your order form naming your choice of shape, color and writing style. Once I receive the handprints, I transfer it to ceramic in a way that allows it to keep its detail. After the initial kiln bisque firing, glaze of your choice is painted and the plaque is kiln fired again. The process in whole takes a month to 2 months. Much time is due to transferring, etching, detailing,drying, cleaning, kiln firing twice, glaze painting and finishing with writing baby information on back, adding ribbon and securely packaging up to be sent out.

Listing is for one hand print up to 36 months or possibly 48 months if hand and thumb fits less than 4 inches across turned vertical.Size of hand and footprint ornament will depend if there is room on front to write name and date. This was my fourth time ordering from Debbie. I can't think of a more cherished keepsake than preserving your little one's handprint and footprint and Debbie's creations are absolutely beautiful. Her attention to detail is amazing and she is a joy to work with. So thankful I have these keepsakes that I know will mean even more to me in years to come. These little prints where delivered through the mail to Texas. Great ceramic work that can be done from anywhere. I love seeing how quickly babies grow up.

October is filled with energy. The new year of school is still fresh and exciting. The air is crisp. The leaves, as if they had character and purpose, scamper down the streets, chase one another through the sky, or spin like red dervishes. Magic is in the very air: the atmosphere is perfect Halloween. We feel inspired by baby girl names that evoke witches and spells, fairies and elves, and the spirits of the deep dark sea.

Witches and Magical Spells

Sybil (rare) is a general word for one of many prophetic women of classical antiquity.
Circe (rare) is a figure from Homer’s Odyssey. She was a sorceress and a goddess of magic, who famously turned all of Odysseus’s men into swine.
Morgan (top 100) le Faye, a powerful sorceress, was half-sister to King Arthur. In later stories, she was his great nemesis. The name was spelled Morgene before Geoffrey of Monmouth’s 12th century book titled Morgen blended the name with Morgan.
Samantha (top 50) was coined in the South as a feminine form of Sam but was little-used until it was given to the pretty and charming main character in the TV series Bewitched. Elf and Fairly Names for Girls

Avery (top 25) comes from an old French pronunciation of Alfred, a Germanic name meaning “elf council”: it implies someone who is advised by the elven folk. The name is a combination of the elements ælf, “elf” and ræd, “council.” An older Germanic form of ælf is alb, which morphed variously into our words elf and elves and into elements of the names Avery and Aubrey.

Pari (rare) is Persian meaning “fairy.” The word was borrowed into Turkish as Peri (rare), and is an element in the popular Turkish name Perihan, meaning “fairy queen.”

Magical Beings of Fire and Water

Phoenix (top 500), from Persian mythology, refers to a richly-colored bird that lived for many centuries before dying and being re-born from its own ashes. The increasing popularity of this name for both girls and boys is probably influenced by Phoenix, Arizona—at the moment, city names are widely used for both genders: Brooklyn, Savannah, and London were all top-100 girl-names in 2013.
Ondine (rare) is a variant spelling of undine, one of four elementals that ruled the basic elements of water, air, earth, and fire—the others being sylphs, gnomes, and salamanders. In Germanic mythology, if an undine married a human man and bore his child, she would be given a soul. As a girls’ name, Undine was popularized by an 1811 romantic novella of the same name, and later by the ballet Ondine, which was based on the novella.
Lorelei (top 500), in Germanic folk lore, was a mermaid (or siren) who sat upon her rock in the Rhine River. She was unaware that her bewitching beauty and magical voice drew the boats of mortal men to her—they were wrecked upon the rocks and engulfed by the river. Whether my items are used for Halloween Costumes, Keepsakes, Birth Announcements, Everyday Wear, Baby Shower Gifts or Personalized Birthday Shirts, each is extremely unique and represents my personality.

Between promoting, designing and manufacturing my product I probably work an average of 10-12 hours per day. I enjoy every minute of it. There is nothing more true than the old saying my Grandfather taught me, "If you're doing what you love, you'll never work a day in your life." I am consumed with my business for all of the creativity it allows me and the joy that it brings me. My Grandfather also always used to tell me, "Livy, if you work with your hands, you'll never go hungry." He always was encouraging of learning a skilled craft or trade. It took me FOREVER to understand what he meant by that quote, but I understand it to its fullest meaning now! I appreciate each individual customer that patronizes my business and a feeling of warmth comes over me each purchase that comes through knowing that all of you buyers out there are trying to support handmade and help put dinner on my table and activities in my kids lives!
